Our Process
At CBIT, we deliver impactful solutions through an efficient, modular 8-week process designed for maximum flexibility and fast results. Organized into four 2-week sprints, our approach ensures clarity, focus, and agility at every step:
1. Challenge Submission
Share your business challenge, and we’ll refine it into a clear, actionable problem.
2. Expert Planning
Collaborate with our faculty lead to scope the project and design a modular, results-driven plan.
3. Formal Agreement
Finalize the project details by signing a streamlined contract with the SDSU Research Foundation, ensuring clear terms and smooth execution.
4. Skilled Team Assignment
We assemble a team of 2–4 talented students, guided by a faculty lead, to execute the project with precision. Each project is structured to run over a defined 8-week period for maximum impact.
5. Sprint-Based Execution
Work progresses in focused 2-week sprints, delivering rapid iteration and actionable results. You will receive a formal report on our progress every two weeks.
6. Actionable Results Delivered
Receive practical, scalable solutions and a comprehensive roadmap to address your challenge efficiently. At the end of the project, we can evaluate and decide together whether to continue to the next phase for deeper implementation or additional challenges.
